I would like to share I Chronicles 4:10 KJV Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me. And God granted him that which he requested. Pacific Northwest Chapter National Black Chamber of Commerce info.pncnbcc.org sharing Press Release. NEWS RELEASE SEATTLE DISTRICT OFFICE Media Contact: Roger Hopkins 1200 Sixth Avenue, Suite 1700 (206) 553-7082 or roger.hopkins.sba.gov Seattle, WA 98101 Internet Address: http://www.sba.gov/wa Release Number: SDO 04-06 Release Date: Feb. 12, 2004 NW Chapter of National Black Chamber and SBA Sign Collaboration Agreement SEATTLE – The Seattle district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the National Black Chamber of Commerce have agreed to join forces in an effort to promote black entrepreneurship and small business ownership in Washington State. SBA Regional Administrator Conrad Lee will participate in the signing of a Strategic Alliance Memorandum during a ceremony Feb. 19 in Olympia. Seattle SBA District Director Bob Meredith and PNCNBCC President Dr. Charles A. Horne will sign the agreement on behalf of the two offices. “By building this collaborative environment the SBA and PNCNBCC will strive to reach more prospective clients in the black business community who want to start or expand small businesses,” said Meredith. “The agreement seeks to increase participation of black-owned businesses in the SBA's capital-access, procurement, technical assistance, women's business, and training programs.” Regional Administrator Lee said the agreement is in keeping with the SBA’s mission of providing resources for all Americans wanting to start and grow small businesses. “As an Asian American I understand that the growth of Washington State’s African-American small business community is important to the prosperity of the region,” said Lee. “I am glad that SBA is partnering with the Pacific NW Chapter of the National Black Chamber of Commerce to assist and develop innovative business models that will enable African-American business owners to succeed in owning a business and achieve economic prosperity.” Horne said the alliance is in step with the chamber’s mission, too. "The Pacific Northwest Chapter National Black Chamber of Commerce is dedicated and committed to the economic empowerment and enhancement of African American communities through the development and strengthening of African American business," he said. “The combined efforts of our two organizations will enhance opportunities for African-American businessmen and women.” The signing will take place at the Ramada Inn Governors House, 621 South Capitol Way, in Olympia as part of the PNCNBCC African American and Communities of Color Legislative Day Reception from 6 - 9:30 p.m. For more information on this event call the PNCNBCC office in Tacoma at (253) 473-0515.
