Ok, so its a working title for the book, refferencing what is probably my shortest poem, which would be the first one in the collection. Its also a working draft. I don't think I'm going to be publishing for a while now, but I figure I'm going to have enough work to do "selling" the book to bookstores and doing marketing and whatnot after its published, so I might as well get as much of the stuff I know I'm going to need done now, instead of waiting.

Roughly a year ago today I met a very rare individual, a man who would change my life forever, as I was soon to find out that he was my spiritual teacher. Some may call such a person a guru; in this case such a label would be a misnomer. A guru is an enlightened spiritual teacher, and, while this man was more spiritually developed than I at the time, he was not enlightened.
After the initial meeting at his house I began calling him every few days and carrying on extended philosophical/esoteric discussions with him. I also visited his house on more than one occasion. Soon I began having what some would call visions, or spiritual experiences. When these began to come more often, and in some cases be incredibly complex in terms of imagery and meaning, he recommended that I keep a journal of these occurrences, and any other spiritual writings I may decide to create.
Later that same day, I began writing at an almost manic pace in a hardback, leather bound journal I had bought years ago but never found a use for. After a while I began writing not just accounts of my visions, but poetry, which was of great spiritual power and significance, as it deals with the important issues of life: God, Happiness, Love, Peace, War, Suffering, and Joy. A few of the following works are even inspired by my visions, in which case the associated vision will be retold in a short commentary which will acompany each peice.
Within days I began to realize that I was never meant to keep these works for myself. I felt almost as though I had been selected for some divine purpose, and while I did not know what that purpose was, I knew what I had to do. What you hold in your hands is the first volume of what I hope to be many collections of poetry from that leather journal, and others like it. It is my hope that this will bring some degree of spiritual revelation to who ever reads it, so that someday we will live in a safer, more loving, and less war-torn world than we do.

A great introduction. Like opening a door and watching not just light fill the room but huge flickering bands of rainbows.
