Crazy King George and Napoleon may have been poisoned?

Hinkly Dinkly Reporting!

MYSTERY OF NAPOLEON'S DEATH SOLVED

Putting to rest a 200-year-old mystery, scientists say Napoleon Bonaparte died from an advanced case of gastric cancer and not arsenic poisoning as some had speculated.

An autopsy determined that stomach cancer was the cause of his death. But some arsenic found in 1961 in the ruler's hair sparked rumors of poisoning.

However, a new study--combining current medical knowledge, autopsy reports, Bonaparte's physician memoirs, eyewitness accounts, and family medical histories--found that gastric cancer was the immediate cause of death.

This reporter surmises that was probably why he was holding his stomach in so many paintings.

Bonaparte, the researchers said, had a very severe case of the cancer, which had spread to other organs.

"Even if treated today, he'd have been dead within a year," the researcher said.

I have news for that researcher. If he were treated today he probably would have already been dead from old age.

Another study found that…
DOCTORS POISONED CRAZY KING GEORGE

King George III (1738-1820) held the throne of the British monarchy during the American Revolution and the defeat of Napoleon, and he was rather crazy.

THAT’S WHAT WE TRIED TO TELL THEM!

A new hair analysis suggests that the king's doctors may have exacerbated his illness by inadvertent arsenic poisoning.

Martin Warren of the University of Kent, UK, and his colleagues have analyzed a lock of the king’s hair taken at the time of his death and detected a high level of arsenic.
A DEADLY DEVIOUS DECEPTIVE CONSPIRACY UNFOLDS

If you read my columns religiously you have learned to read between the lines and no doubt know that there is more than a hint of foul play running amuck in both circumstances and a distinct connection.

Both rulers are dead. Both were crazy. Both spoke foreign languages, (minor detail)…and BOTH HAD ARSENIC IN THEIR HAIR.

Coincidence?…I think not.

One of King George’s chambermaids in her memoirs, “Diary of a Mad King’s Mistress” suggests that the lock of hair was taken from a wig, which probably came from a poisoned horse.

The French have no explanation.

Neither do I.

Hinkly Out!
