The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah. HOT Words -- Judge Uprightly Verses 4,5 -- External Nature, Horns, Symbolizing Pride & Power I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. Verse 6 -- WORKS of God, God's Providence in Man's Temporal Affairs, Inclinces the Hearts of Men Toward His Servants For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. Verse 10 -- WORKS of God, God's Providence in Moral Discipline, Contrasted Temporal Fortunes of the Righteous & Wicked All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
