Illegal meth lab connected with a police officer.

Police Officer James Gypin, 22, of Alexandria, Louisiana was arrested for operating a meth lab out of his home. The police apparently was investigating him for weeks. His sister, 23 year old Paulette Gypin was also arrested.

The Police Chief, Claude Williams, is also under investigation for federal and state crimes according to KLAB channel five news in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Okay, in the last few weeks, I've reported police officers arrested for murders, rapes, sexual assaults on children, batteries and threats, car thefts, drug dealings, burglaries, domestic violences, frauds, kidnappings and everything in between. A simple question. When will police officials and politicians start recognizing that maybe we have a epidemic forming or should I say formed?

I believe we'll start seeing real concern when eventually one of these rogue officers assault a prominent politician's son or daughter, a prominent businessman, or an important citizen. Isn't that the way that many problems gets attention?  

My condolences to the family of Randy Simmons, the police officer killed in the line of duty in California.
