Love and Remember
Today is a time to pause, reflect and pray for the ones who sacrificed and died in the early morning of September 11, 2001. The bravery and courage shown is a lesson we should all live by. The men and women who perished are true angels who gave of themselves in a way none of us could ever imagine. Remembering their lives is an honor and not to live by their sacrifice is a shame. This day is also a day to reflect on what you consider so important in your life. What values and misconceptions do you place on gas prices, the economy and your own prosperity? What consumes your daily thinking?
The ones who died that day, in their final moments and given the chance, acted out by calling the ones they love and telling them how much they cared and enjoyed the time they had with them. This is the anthem they left for us. Tomorrow is not a guarantee so stop blinding yourself with today's headlines. Enjoy your life, enjoy the blue skies, the sunshine, the wind and the trees; hug your wife, your husband, your children, your Mom and Dad and your friends because so many on September 11, 2001 never got the chance.
