Hope, always there is hope if we fight apathy and expect a little miracle, because little miracles do occur...

“Can we have a fund to help the authors that can’t pay their Memberships Dues?”
Felix LeRoy Perry, Fee to most, Santa Fee for his gang of friends, got that light bulb shining over his head, and he didn’t let it go, asking now and again “what about the ones that will fall out of our literary community? Can’t we do something to help them?”
This was long before anybody suspected that the economy would take a roller-coaster of a trip down down down.
Well, we make his wishes a reality, a gang of his peers took the initiative to make that happen, to help the authors between the teeth of the crunch.
We received instantly the first week many donors (see List of Authors Donors posted every Saturday) and we started to help coordinating our efforts with the Management of AuthorsDen.com which graciously offered to cover 50% of every membership dues to be part of our campaign.
Well, the crunch now is on and the people that need help is mounting but the donations have suddenly stop.
We know that everybody has economical problems, but we are not asking for anybody to make a hole in their economy, just that they can donate 3, 5, 8 or whatever to fill the war chest and hold your peer here and afloat.
