Plastic Pumpkin I love Hallowe'en Even to the point of apostrophe Back when I put on Black skeleton pajamas and Skull mask and was gone The one night I was free to be Out running the streets Bones outlined in luminous green Hard to understand How much it meant to me to do this then But somehow it did And if it meant to you like me You know what I mean It meant that I went free again To see and be seen Intent upon the in between Glad to be a kid Who had a plastic pumpkin full of treats Steven Curtis Lance
