I never knew what pain really was

until I reflected on what the MAN has done above

He came down to the Earth as both God and man

to finally eliminate the power of sin, found within

every man on this Earth, every weak soul

He rescued us from sin's greatest toll

which is spiritual death,

yes your blessed, you don't have to trod alone in this mess

the mess that man has made when he fell

from God's presense soon into the abyss called Hell.

He has given us power to resist the Devil

we no longer have to stoop to his level,

The devil tried to take us out with one mighty blow

but there is one thing that that Satan knows,

his time is short, yeah he knows how the story goes

My brothers and sisters we must rejoice for what Christ has done

He rose from the grave,

the battle is already won

Let's praise Jesus, God's Only Begotton Son

When I was a child, I never understood why He rose,

It wasn't for fame,

or to gain a name

It was who He was

It was Love!
