Poem Artwork

With blazing fire, fire burning strong.
I will follow your guiding light as long
as you point the way,
this obsession of you will stay
the same.

Like a sunflower I will reach for your light,
a flame of burning clarity in sight.
We are one, but still not the same,
not following the rules in this game
called life.

Let our flames shine to give light to the dark,
to fertilize minds and ignite a spark.
Give way to the seed that will grow,
stronger, stronger the flame shall glow,
this burning light in hasty flight.

I feel kinship I cannot explain
it's like our soul is one and the same.
A healing journey expressed in word,
some will call beauty, others absurd,
let it shine on and on.

Many roads left and tales still to come,
to lead through adventures yet unsung.
Fire and brimstone, hardship that cannot be delayed,
will lead our souls on journeys to be derailed,
over and over again.

This message I send to you, my twin soul in passion and pain,
let this journey we find time and again,
be the star that light the nightsky ablaze,
with connecting souls clearing out the haze
of minds lost, minds found.

Never stray from this path that will weed
out the blindfolded from the seed.
May we always find eachother again and again,
as we falter and fall as one and the same,
let light lead the way.

Come this way,
come what may,
explore with me,
make us see.
what was lost will be found,
the moment we stand on common ground,
once again,
always the same,
my burning twinflame.
My burning heart,
my soul apart,
when will this journey start?

Beautiful coupling of these two lines: “what was lost will be found,/the moment we stand on common ground,” I’d like to keep those lines in my pocket :) ~~ djl

Certainly, joined by the welding fire of your emotions. Seems more like a restart rather than a start.
