Poem Artwork

Dreaming in multicolor, bright images of you
I tried to get through, send a message or two
I am in need of my nights, that's where I try
process my thoughts and ideas, check the whys'

I suppose it's a fools errand my dream
your mind so far away it seems
I lull myself to sleep thinking of you
and all the things you do.

So many new things passing through,
a bright new world for me and you
It's a kind of magic within my heart
to finish the day, before a brand new start

I climb the ladder within my soul to be
a better person tomorrow you see
That's my part to bring to tomorrows table
working for harmony, a better world for us enable

"I climb the ladder within my soul to be
a better person..." - speaks for itself. If only the rest of your poems of yearning could be couched in similar coin !!!
