Poem Artwork

Where do you go when you have nothing?
When your bleeding heart is in shock
and the image of life is a mockery
of what you had but lost

Torn into pieces, raw, brittle soul
Jaded your future about to unfold
There is beauty in the dark,
the night ignited by a spark

Moments that are often outshone
by the gloom in your bones
The melody of discord
played by the bored

A dancing circus of short cirquit
nerve cells that refuse to release
the brains own drug of a Happy life
A serotonin dealers demise

Weary and dreary dullness
off to its scull-nest

When you're cheaper
rather than deeper

Dreamin' of a life fit for a king or queen
but you can't find the pieces inbetween
So you stay in reclusive hiding
whilst down-words you're riding

Shouting out for your rescue party
to bring a hearty
warming flame
for your soul to remain

Singing a lullaby of Bye byes
while raining from your eyes
a waterfall to disguise
your most coveted price

Tender loving care
that is forever there
Beautiful romance
blissful slow dance

A Love that will last
love to outshine the past

This one goes from being down and out to arriving at epitome. Flowing beautifully in the right direction--nice!
