From my soul, through my fingers and onto my screen. This came to me as I was writing on my book. Enjoy.

Poem Artwork

I am the quiet breeze that whispers in the air
I am the safe haven when you shiver in fear
I am the gentle hand that caress your hair
I am the one that will always be there

Through the ages I have roamed looking for you
a sense of urgency in my quest for the one true

I always knew I would find you somewhere along the way
in my quiet conviction I'd carve my path and on it I'd stay

Though painful at times I knew I had to endure
for it would make me readu for you, of that I was sure

With each scar giving me another strength of mind
it was how I kept building my soul into one of a kind

It gave me kindness and empathy in mass
ready me for the needles eye to pass

I stand here ready to receive your love
a ray of sun kept inside to you I will show

I promise to always be true to my core
for the one love so true and pure
