I succumb to deaths call
I run to it like as if I have fire
licking at my heels
pushing me onwards
Embracing the darkness
that holds me captive
I cling to whatever will hold me up
keep me steady
My heart beats wildly
My mind screams for a savior
I try to look back but the force
from the darkness holds my eyes
It won't release even for that one look
In the darkness there appears the
face of a fierce dragon
Spitting fire at me
I can smell singed hair and flesh
It's showing me deaths ugly face
My voice fails me when I open my
mouth to call for it to stop
I am enveloped in the blackness

The ground beneath me disappears
And I am falling
Dizzy
With my heart in the pit of my stomach
My mind is screaming
I'm so afraid
The darkness knows that it has me
It's laughing at my fear
I can hear it
The sound evil and menacing

Shall I succumb to deaths call

I called for this death
I beckoned it forward
Life’s pain and misery
was too much to handle
Fear of moving forward
Holding me down

Now.....that I look at deaths door
I fear it more than living
Maybe it doesn't have to be
Given a chance....
My heart could beat freely
With out fear of what’s to come
Free me from death
Free my soul from darkness
Pump living blood into my heart
Let me live darkness.....Let me live
