MY HAIKU OF DEATH

MY HAIKU OF DEATH

Sliding down below.

Where no one will dare to tread.

Down the dark hollow.

Darkness fills each side.

Gravity, my enemy.

No place left to hide.

I keep falling down.

Will I hit rock bottom hard?

I won’t land on down.

My descent goes fast.

I've come to my bitter end.

Life is in the past.

Death is a bitter pill to swallow that won't go down for some. I don't particularly like haiku, but I certainly like you putting together several of them to make more clear your poetic intent.

We all will die. It's a mystery and the question is why. Then if the Christians got it right we can get a ticket to live in love eternally. I don't like rolling the dice. We have choices which is nice. Nice poem Susanne. John Michael

A very dark poem that shows despair and disappointment in life. I hope this is just a poem and is not about your life in reality.

Thanks, John. I'm fixing it. My husband walked into the room talking, and I messed up.

Very interesting. The last one seems to have something missing in the second line, the 7-beat rhythm isn't there.

You, Susanne, have absolutely found your niche. These dark poems of yours are so very, very good. You have it going for you, and I'm loving it!
