Nope and a brussel sprout will forever taste like one, no matter how you season it!! It's flavor is strong, I love it but many can't stand it.

I remember them foundly, the only food at a time for a very hungry kid eaten on the run from the German shepherd field police, eaten raw, no chocolade, no mayo, no force, in time I came to love them even just smothered in butter.
This does not take away from your excellent expression of a bit of wisdom, written on the run from Brussel sprouts I bet.

Every time my mother served those hideous things, she'd make me sit at the table until I ate them - I often sat at that old kitchen table all night - I couldn't even get the dogs to help me out!

Good point regards not having things forced upon us...I wanted to write something in this regard, specifically about those that push religion on others, and while I am more religious than I was in the not so distant past, I still don't like others forcing the issue or ramming it down my throat as it were...sorry for the short rant, but this type of thing about this issue vexes me big time & you wrote exactly what I wanted to say about my issue..e

I think this is an amazing piece, disguised in simplicity but very profound. And for the record, I absolutely love brussel sprouts, I'm insane about them grilled, and you'd like them if you coated them in chocolate with some jalopeno! (Just my personal secret recipe)

Naturally. Charles Darwin did not force his views on the giant Galapagos turtle to grow into the wonderful endangered species it is today, it evolved from Evolution naturally. I love brussel sprouts, this mini cabbage sprinkled with melted mozzarella cheese, but I doubt if I'd eat turtle soup...
