Pure Fiction

Poem Artwork

Nothing else reveals

The aura of your spirit

 

Nothing else contains

The essence of your being

 

Nothing else pretends

To hide your flagrant motive

 

Nothing else compares

With the stealth of your success

 

Nothing else eludes

Your camouflage of love

 

Nothing else confides

In your secrets unrevealed

 

Nothing else confounds

Like the theft of my emotion

 

Nothing else penetrates

Like the focus of your eyes

 

Nothing else disfigures

My World

 

Like the battery acid

Coursing through your veins

It's there, hidden, then flows out, like a battery turned upside down spewing out its acidic liquid! Awesome write, really hits the spot when it comes to toxic ppl :)

Amazing twist. Sadly there are many of this ilk. But thankfully they are outnumbered. Only this guy keeps finding the likes.
