A firecracker would not wake my cat

when he's gone

he stays like that,

immune from the world

asleep in his space,

occasionaly stands up

turns around,

then returns to engrace.

Its not that he's lazy

oh beg that I say,

just he seems to sleep,

most of the day.

Touch him

he will streach

shake a leg or two,

but you will see little activity

when he's having a snooze.
