Durball the Duck and the wrong shampoo

Poem Artwork

You know some days

your down on you luck

thats the way it was

for Durball the Duck.

He had washed his feathers

in a new shampoo

trouble was

it had coloring too,

well being a Duck

you miss the small print

all his feathers

they came out Pink.

Now thats no color

for a manly bird,

so Durball felt quite absurd,

hid away

among some bushes

until he was spotted

by some Pidgeons.

Have your fun

Durball shouted

as the Pidgeons

flapped their wings

trying hard not to laugh.

It was then a passing flamingo

did spy

and had a twinkle in his eye,

poor Durball was having none of this

told the flamingo

to get lost.

It was during the night

there in his lake

he scrubbed his feathers

till his wings did ache,

then by the morning he was pleased

all the pink was gone

now he could feel at ease.
