Just a tribute to my papal whose been gone ten years tomorrow 8/13
They say life must go on, and that death is not the end
For I believe that I will see him again
It's been ten years now and I sometimes hear his voice
He was my daddy the man that I adored
He took me as his the day I was born
He watched over me through the years
And took me where ever he went
I still remember the call
Telling me to get home quick
I don't know what laws I broke
but I know that I speed so fast
To only arrive after his dying breath
I miss him so much and some days I wish
That he was here with me helping me through this lifely mess
Since he has been gone, His grandchildren have grown. Four more have joined the force and I wish they could only know
He was a good man, atleast in my eyes.
Even though there are a few who say it was me that changed his way of life
Some say he was mean and not a good man
But the man I knew was the best daddy any one could have had
Now ten years have come and I still cry somedays I wish I could feel his hands as I reach for the sky,
God I miss my daddy, the man that I always knew. So here is this little poem papal just for you
