The Arm of Mercy is a 'Teacher'...not a 'Sin Reacher'. Pressing on, amen.

What is the purpose of Mercy? *Is it meant to take advantage of His love...* *His humbleness for us… of leaving His throne above?* *Or does perhaps, Mercy, this precious product of Calvary* *have a greater intent indeed?* Was it purchased to allow us, intentionally… *to do just as we darn well please...* *with a future intent of 'mockingly' bending our knees?* *Or...could it have been purchased to help us to a better place...* *with 'repentance' covering our 'honest' mistakes* *instilling...a yearning...to one day see His Blessed face?* What is the purpose...of Mercy? *Does it sanction our habitual wrongs* *as we repeatedly sin and gingerly skip along?* *Or does it plainly show the extent of compassion reaped...* *with Salvation's beauteous dawn and…* *could it have been meant to nurture seeds of awareness in us* *substantiating how He cares...so very much?* Mercy...the priceless gift of Almighty God...who *did His all...to help us after the mistake of a… fall* *shows His love for us is genuine...and not at all...a game* *thus, His Mercy...should touch our hearts to shame* *whereby, if...we let it, Mercy, can 'guide' us to a spot* *where we earnestly...desire ...our nonsense to stop* *for, it's the 'Love' that grows between God and us.* Mercy should cajole the heart...to seek our errors end not nurture hardened ways that 'continually' hurt a friend… as, Jesus 'feels it' when we reject His spirit and deliberately sin why…it's like crucifying Him...all over again! Hopefully, one day ...we'll come to realize the ‘worthiness’ of our 'Prize’… 'really' submitting to Him ...will be a choice and at that time we'll declare, with a bold voice.... ‘My mind’s made up… enough of my stuff…! No more will I bluff I’ll try and try…sure ‘nough’ no more will I hurt Him... I've got the power within. His love ...with Mercy arrayed has shown me the right way tomorrow may never play... so, I'll live for Him now...today!' I think Mercy is all you've said, and more, Joyce. I think mercy lives in each life lived, but is so stretched out by time and Man's thoughts, it's too simple for people to 'reality-hive' beyond its ellusive concept.

Lovely, engaging piece, burgeonging with meaning and nuance.

a very good thought provoking piece Joyce, we definitely should mercy ourselves because hardly no one else will but the man up above, everyone else keeps the pressure cooker on high all the time, then they can't handle it when you put your foot down, you become the bad guy, cheers
