What is a 'Christian' but a sinner who's being Forgiven...continually? A Christian is one that accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and then...goes on through the 'process' of growing closer to Christ. It is not overnight...it takes time! We are not perfect, we often come short and, yes, we fall down but, by the Grace and Mercy of God, we get up! Here is, a Christian Love Story...

*The sun's brillance gradually dimmed...* *then extinguished* *Lunar's radiance tip toed forth greeting the night...* *like an expert linguist* * *The lips of a predestined pair found one another...* *beneath the glow of the dark* *Millions of the night sky's adornments twinkled brightly...* *giving credence to love's spark* * *Flowing together moment by moment through amour's...* *timeless ecstasy* *They chose to momentarily ignore...and then forget...* *God's laws of chastity* * *Then he left...but promised faithfully...* *they would wed when he returned* *She found reasons to follow and found him..* *desires flamed...ideas of leaving him...spurned* * *They swayed together ...'neath the spell* *of the* *world's...alluring passion* Dispensing no effort to amend their ways... they lived as husband and wife...after a fashion** * *But what Our God has begun...* *'He' is more than able to finish* *Her conscience...began to press her sore...* *and her complacency...to diminish* * *"Thou art Mine!" 'His' voice filled her ears...* *and within...her heart burned* *Memories of her yesterdays resurfaced and her soul...* *once again...for her Redeemer yearned* * *'His' words...no stranger to her...* *brought conviction that would not relent* *"Your body is my temple"... 'He' whispered...* *"you are royalty"...my child, repent!* * *Her love for another was so great...yet* *her Savior's call...she could never deny* *She prayed for strength, then she surrendered crying ...* *give me Jesus, or else...I'll die!* * *They were once a 'pair'...now he was alone...* *he tried so hard to forget...but he found his life...hollow* *Finally...he could no longer deny his pining...* *thus, as the Spirit beckoned...he did follow* * *Humbly...doing contrition before our God...* *that always forgives and restores* *They both gave their lives back to ...'Him'...* *who was still...their Lord of Lords* * *Months later...they were united in Holy Matrimony...* *walking in The Master's...true light* *And amid the joyous celebration...they did gladly admit* *God's way was not only good...God's way...was right!* *1Jn 1:8-9, Ps 32:5* *copyright; joyce m bell/3/ 072008*

Wow,this is one of the best love stories I have read and in many ways I can relate to it ...miracles happen and anything is possible with God's love and faith in Him.

And amid the joyous celebration...they did gladly admit
God's way was not only good...God's way...was right!

... so often is this the case, Joyce, but we'd rather find out the hard way by ignoring His greater wisdom and best-laid plans to fulfill our own flawed ones. Not in such an instance as this one, but in other ways I have experienced just the same... but His grace has come in like a flood and given me abundantly MORE than that to which I tightly clung... when I finally gave it up!
