...it is much later than we think...
(a series of haikus)

Poem Artwork

Before...'His' return

and prophetic times ensue

let 'His' sate love...'burn'

~~~
Broken seals...open
Horsemen come with their 'tokens'
pray...before winter
~~~

The stars...they will fall

the mountains and islands flee

dead seas...spew blood gall

~~~
The rocks won't hide us
flesh melts from bone...like fall's dust
turn...before winter
~~~

Minutes will be chained

pardon for stone minds...cease

ere...judgment claims

~~~
While 'mercy's' still sure
and prior to 'grace'...no more
come...before winter
~~~

With arms wide open

'He' yearns for your 'self'...complete

only 'He'...holpens

~~~
Render contrite hearts
  so little time...hark!...do start
now!...before winter
"Render contrite hearts," and we better do it now; for time may not waits, a fair warning, Joyce.
Conversion is still available and is a gift from God through Jesus Christ the Lord: The only way to the Father is through Jesus Charist Savior of the World. Thank you Joyce for the reminder. Not only what you revealed in your poem is true it is only the begining! Peace!!!
Some have winter outside, but there are those that have winter inside because they don't come near His fire.
Very clear image of the approaching “End of days” or apocalypse. Very well done! You touched my heart and made me think and revise my faith…
Joyce, these may not be haiku in the truest sense, but
I admire the artistry of your lovely 3-line stanzas. -gene.
Fantastic choice of form for these profound messages, Joyce. You render a completel clarion call here and I particularly like how you interweave Biblical truths about a certain future (which may seem like a very distant reality at times) with the all-too-nearness of the changing season which is already at the door and to which we can all relate most tangibly! Excellent stuff here! You are a true prophet in the sense of message-bearer. Bless you, Kate xx
These Haikus are very intense, but very well written. Nicely done.
These haiku(s)are rather scary with a setting that encompasses violent times. "Spew blood gall, flesh melts from bone, gross evil and stone hearts" make one cringe with fear. This poem sounds like an event coming from the days of warriors. Your writing gives it impact!
