I'd like to always write poetry that paints a rosy picture of our Christian journey but, I have to be honest...our walk with God is not always easy. The battle between good and evil forever rages and the main objective of the enemy is take away the faith of the believer...to turn the believer away from the One and Only Redeemer. During the times when we are being fiercely buffeted, we must remember that The Lord did not promise us a life free of trials...what He promised in His Word, was that He would go with us through the trials and...never...leave us alone. And He has not changed at all...Almighty God will always be the Master and Savior of our lives...if...we let Him. Thus, it is my hope and my prayer that we, who have started with Christ, will end with Christ...not ever departing from Him who is so Wondrous and so True. Today, tomorrow and forever...God is... All. Pressing-on!

Oh, Wondrous One... how You do keep me... how tenderly...your love surrounds me~~~ Upon Your soft breast I rest my head... within your constant grasp ...my burdens lapse~~~ You alone... are the substance of my life... all my tomorrows...belong to you~~~ Oh, Wondrous One... I can see...my eternal home realized... upon Your heavenly chariots I ride!~~~ For this one thing now...I pray... when the time of my departure from this world arrives...please stand ever by my side~~~ Having stood for that for which You died... having bourn the lash for Your arms stretched out wide... when bleeding from this world I tear my mind...frazzled from the battles forgive me if ...before it's over and done... these lips should anything but utter...
