Recently, came a question about…teaching

and inwardly, so imperfect me, smiled

recognizing that…with every sun-rise…

I necessitate correction, re-shaping and file.

Thinking of the numerous ways

to minister and sincerely…reach…

I conceded that, like so many others…

I’m not called to the…limelight…to beseech.

But rather to quietly follow His…in-fillings

penning simple …allegories

which touch and foster eternal hope…

all to…His… glory.

Daily broken by the will of heaven

writing of …The Light… that rids dim

I am of the crowd desiring not …detection…

only wanting to please and honor…Him.

Thus, when down to this… so needy vessel

those alphas trickle from above

there is no yen for an earthen crown

but the saturation of …God’s love.

For, I know each inspired word…

has purpose…and it doesn't begin with me

for I, who certainly come so very short…

ever requires… guidance and reprieve.

Thus…His tender words are…

with intents…which sometimes evade

but in time, will rise t0 the surface

resulting in …all of us…being saved.

Though I may never witness the changes

His…mandated inclinations bring

indeed…on that great never-ending morning…

the results of …His Work…will ring.

With a beckoning to ...walk on solid ground

and no pant at all for a personal halo

there’s just a hope…His Inspirations…be read

rendering a service…found…In His Shadow.
