Baires Angels

I was strolling
through Baires,
one fine Autumn day,
strolling through Baires,
feeling time ticking away.
I was absorbing
Buenos Aires,
walking its world,
through concrete
and stone and
great doors of wood.
I came to a Plaza,
where two angels played,
feeding the pigeons
in Mayo Square,
petting the pigeons
with their dad kneeling near.
I stopped strolling
through Baires,
one fine Autumn day,
stopped strolling through Baires
while time ticked away.
I was absorbing
Argentina,
greeting its world,
through pavemented streets
with towering trees,
and angelfied girls.
I left in a taxi,
left two angels play,
and, I was driven away,
I had to leave Baires
later that day…

Metered and rhymed perfectly, this flowed almost like a song! A marvelous memory you've captured in illustration and words--BRAVA!
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)
