Petal So Pretty

Pretty petal
Protecting your own,
I had to turn
The sprinkler on!
Others live here
In my garden abode,
I have to take care of
All that is owned.
Pretty prancing
Petal you shudder
With each drop.
Your opposite lies limp,
All recourse is gone.
In my garden abode
I have to control
All that is owned.
Petal so pretty
Paid with its life.
Soon, I’ll turn off
The water, too late.
Iris’ fray with the
Heartbeats of strife,
I don’t know how to abode
All that is owed…

Beautifully described sadness, very well done.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
