“Wow!” This colder air feels sweet!”
“My old limbs have less weight, I feel
Freed!” “Brrr, shrug ' that feels better.”
“Sloughing off the fall.”
“Well, look, that’s how! Time has
Turned to almost-winter, again!”
“My companion vine has lost
Its leaves!” “Adieu, my sweets!”
“Why, I can see everywhere, now!
Look at the pretty lights down the street!”
“My family is working, or schooling, or
Nothing.” “Feels like old times ‘round here.”
“Wait!” “Cool, lights are being hung up, by
Daughters, here at my home!” “White lights,
Green garland, red bows along the chain-link
Fence!” “How pretty is that?!”
“Whew.” “They’re looking tired” “I wonder
If there are any lights left?” “Oh, wait,
They’re going inside, guess they are done.”
"It’s so pretty out here, in red and white.”
“Wait!” “The girls are back! Finishing up
Last touches!” “Whoomph!” “I’ve been
Netted!” “And I shine with white lights!”
“Wow.” “What a beautiful night!”
