peek-a-boo snowflakes. Gray skies
color desert life.

Companion Haiku

Starburst blooms on Earth,
reincarnates daffodil;
cosmic genesis.

Clouds scud away
trailing tattered fingers,
weeping their goodbyes.

The discipline of Haiku is extremely difficult, more than sonneteering.
