I realized when I posted Sask II that I hadn't posted Sask I -- While my time out there is long past it was exciting. A glossary is available -- some of the terms are somewhat esoteric...

Windswept prairie, seven day vistas. Slough and coulees, buffalo rubs and stone piles. Muley deer, coyote, gopher and sandhill... Saskatchewan, swift flowing waters, Saskatchewan. Flying dust, three day blizzards, the white combine. Saskatchewan �...unfit for European migration...� Paliser said ... breadbasket to the nation, now
