“Where Were You” ! ! ! ! ! http://www.thestarlitecafe.com/poems/89/poem_688780.html ! ! ! ! ! Where were you? When all the detours on my road Took so much away from me And the melancholy of my life Took my world away When brushed colors Of horizon from afar Splashed upon me I wonder Should “Dali” have the power? To paint the colors of my heart Where were you? When the winds of life Wanted to silent me Where were you? When thunder made me stronger Where were you? When the walls around me fell down Where were you? When time ran out on me Just tell me Where were you? When I needed you Past horizons and the seven seas I searched for you To find my heart at your feet I walked past mountains high Where rivers flow… high and low When the moon faded away Where were you? While I was lying at your feet In silence I walked alone While the silence of my heart was yearning Where were you?
