“Sunshine”
Heavy are my eyelids
As you withdraw yourself
To hide in a golden cloud
As I slumber
Thoughts a million miles away
But within my head
I hear our footsteps
That falls upon golden sands
As we walk in harmony
Hand in hand we talk
Talking to the wind
About happy moments in time
Our souls as one
Happy tears fall from my eyes
As I cry for you
But you seal it with your kiss
As you withdraw yourself
To hide in a golden cloud
Sunshine so bright
You warm my heart
Before I close my eyes
I hear your call
It had great beauty
And I know not how
But within the gulfs of sleep we were
Joyful and free from blame
We became one
For all eternity

So glad to hear these were happy tears, Tinka.
Thank you!
I liked this especially
"But within the gulfs of sleep we were
Joyful and free from blame

For all eternity"
