“My Trusted Friend”

The Purity of your heart and soul

Makes this heart of mine love you so

So much I can see you know!!

From a distance

From where I stand today

I watch you smile

And I think to myself

A God send pleasure for sure

The love I feel in days gone by

I am telling you sweetheart

If I had to live under the open sky

And I had to count my stars… my blessings

You would be the brightest one by far

Because the purity of your heart and soul

Shines through everything you do

So much I can see!!

From a distance from where I stand

I close my eyes and feel your touch

And within a instant

I felt so loved

Oh where have you been all this time?

Why did you stay away so long?

I walked alone for most of my life

Tell me please

How to make this dream to last

You are my most trusted friend

With so many mountain tops to climb between us

And seven seas to sail upon

For now

I can only kneel down and pray

That you will never go away

To leave me standing here alone

As days goes by

One by one
