"Crying Guitar"

As I watch in silence
Leaning against the willow tree
Playing my crying guitar
The wind whispers a gentle song
Blackbirds sleeping
As the red moon rise
Spreading

Bright flames along the willow trees
Low fires burn down on gray waters

Like the burning flames in my heart
I hear the cry of a peacock in harmony
With the melody of my crying guitar
The beauty of it all

Made me feel special and proud
Moonlight carries me along…
On the rhythm of my crying guitar
Until my true love is found
With words so kind
As in my dreams
Where I can find…
And challenge
All his utmost love
Playing my crying guitar
And let destiny take part…
As I play my acoustic guitar
For true love to be found

Wonderful Tinka and since my all-time favorite song is "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", I can tell the ones who do not know, the song was written by George Harrison, recorded by the Beatles and released on the Beatles "White" Album in 1968. Eric Clapton, I do believe, sat in as a background guitarist and did a tremendous and rather chilling rendition at the "Tribute to George" concert, the year after George Harrison died.
Take care,
Jill

Now this is one I can definately relate to Tink, many the times when life has seemed too much for me to bear and the world seemed my enemy have I picked up my old six string and played my heart and voice out in every love and sorrow song I know.

Tinka, your unique poetic style and approach enables one to bridge the gap between humanities frailties and its far too often shortcomings, and it truly allows one to “feel” your well-crafted work, my gifted friend! I enjoyed this susceptible write very much. Thank you so much for sharing your many wonderful talents. Take good care and be well.

Artist: The Beatles Lyrics
Song: While My Guitar Gently Weeps Lyrics

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it need sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know why nobody told you
how to unfold you love
I don't know how someone controlled you
they bought and sold you

I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know how you were diverted
you were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted
no one alerted you

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at you all
Still my guitar gently weeps

Oh, oh, oh
oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
oh oh, oh oh, oh oh
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah
