The Shower Hour
I strip my clothes from my body
And let the hot water
Just flow down my body
I close my eyes
To cover myself in darkness
And let the water run over my face
Searching for you
Behind the wall of my dreams
Tiny jets of hot water covers me
Flow down my eyelids like warm tears
And it turns my skin pink
And as the hot water
Continues to whip against my skin
I feel how your hands caresses me
And swallow hard
As I breathe the heat
The smoke of the steam
Chokes me
As I keep my face lifted higher
Water still washes away
All those bad memories of yesterday
But deep in my heart
I feel you
Dancing upon
The emptiness deeper within
Longing to be with you
To hold you
But fate kept us apart
And without even noticing
The water turned ice cold
So did I
One more time

"Searching for you
Behind the wall of my dreams"
and
" feel you
Dancing upon
The emptiness"
This is a beautiful poem; it sparks so many emotions in the reader from sad to elated, from weary to soothed.
Take care,
Sherry
This is amazingly erotic and sensual then reality
of the cold truth streams in well....with the music
playing all the while.
Really Good.
