I am rolling over and around Ocean rub’s the shoulder Against the continent That’s how I embrace the bareness A lust game against rock and reel In a pace towards the shores In collar of white foam Let me clean your beach And re-a range the brown ribbons Around my wrists from river vain Rivers that empty themselves within me I am the mixer of secrets Food and liquid in my own dark kitchen And if I brush the wind out of my hair And the seagull’s spying on my coastline How unimpeachable I do not know And do not want to know In vain I decline to understand or to know About my bound togetherness With “You’ Continent
Oh, my, Tinka... Ebb and flow, most beautiful. Sweet salt stings pure heart / Crags defy whispered foam death / Eternal life beats. A wonderful offering, Tinka. Thank you.
As the sound of the waves washed over me, and i heard the seabirds complimment your wise and gentle words I knew that this was a perfect example of your heart and soul Tinka. Beautifully and rich...
You do ocean writes so beautifully. :) This is absolutely magnificent!

Wow, at first I immediately heard the oceans sweet roar, looked at the art-work which is very good. Love the darkness within the poem, and your art-work. Brava!!!

PS. I am out of my hiding place (LOL) for awhile. You're the first one that I've read in sometime.
Tinka, this is one beautiful piece of writing and I do agree with Jerry: peaceful and dark at the same time. It has an aura of ghostly mystery to it. I really liked it.

A piece of poetry with the old sixties verb "heavy" attached to it. This is at once peaceful with the rolling waves and yest dark, very dark, when you delve into those "secrets." Good one.
