I’ve seen you as a friend on lonely nights And like a child I try very hard To capture time with my hands As special moments we share in verse I reach out to you and you touch my heart Some people will never understand The meaning of love in poetry or song I listen to the music in dark shadow nights I see your face in the dark And it fills my heart with delight As I slumber in my thoughts I look for you in the shadows I want to grab and hold on to The perfect melody of your song That takes me to you in shadow lands Wherever you are tonight!! Once again I try to capture time Like a little child in my hand Just to be with you… As you slumber in my thoughts Thoughts gone far from here

This has the longing for a soulmate like the heart longs to be home... the song of the restless spirit that roams the worlds, physical and spiritual, looking for that haven and sure anchor in another mirror image. And how often we think we have been mysteriously touched in such a way, but can't think who has done it or how... your words open up the Pandora's Box of the pursuit of the twin-flame... I think... not that I know anything much about such things, but seems this way to me. Filled with awe and wonder... and that sharp intake of breath! Beautiful, thank you. Kate xx
