As I watch you quietly I think of you my love And convinced my self That I am like this little King Fisher As I talk to him in silence Don’t you fly too high little one I can’t hear your cry But you can hear mine Flapping your wings so elegantly What joy does it bring? Such grace as I watch you in silence As I sit here by the waterside once again You showed me so much pride little birdie And I wish I could only fly once And I wonder where will destiny take me If I could really fly Will I be able to cope? Will I be able to fly with a broken wing? The broken wing of life I don’t think I will ever fly little one But I can always try… always try Always try with you by my side You can show me how to glide And I will do it with pride Don’t you fly away my little King Fisher!! Don’t leave me alone here As the wind whisper love songs in my ears I need you here by my side Telling me everything will be all right As you tumble down to my feet I watch you quietly With a tear upon my face!! As you fly away in grace!!
