It is ok to have just one slice, Tinka. Life is too short for hard-line diet rules. The pizza cheat will give you a reason to take a long and beautiful walk along the sand the next day, breathe in the salt air, so you win twice.

Too bad that old hunger monster interrupted this heartfelt reverie!
It was so dreamy and moody, then a complete reversal as it changed into a humorous write about pizza and perseverance.
Fun to read.

September is still summer but it is grape season and it's sultry. Oh well, I'll indulge in a pizza instead of you. Still diet or no diet, if you do your own it could be less fattening. Besides if you managed to resist then you deserve a prize. Go and buy one as a reward. Love Victor

ONe slice of pizza won't kill ya or your diet...eat in moderation, if you are used to 4 pieces, eat two, if you are used to two sandwhiches, eat one...that is the key to slowly losing weight...ED
