I'm not sure if you're pitching beef or chicken? I've been eating at the Colonel for longer than that. Regardless if it is chicken, catfish, shrimp or whatever… If it is breaded it is bad for you… containing carbohydrates (sugar), cooking oil with fat and bad cholesterol, and too much salt. Chicken skin may be as harmful as beef fat. That's why I rarely eat fast food now. If it isn't broiled with the fat removed, baked, or fried in olive oil, it's probably bad for you. I love, “original recipe,” but if I ate it for lunch forty-five years, my arteries would be clogged and a stroke, heart attack, or dementia would be right around the corner. It's not.

I don't eat the turkey skin and we stuff them with vegetables, mushrooms and a little wine so that the finished bird is tender, melts in your mouth and is much more tasty than the dry, tasteless old-fashioned kind. Fried turkeys are too expensive and I'll bet that the peanut oil is a cholesterol bomb.
