On a early spring
Blistering day
I walked upon a worrier
Resembling Don Quixote.
He was silent
Stood there motionless
His brilliant shinning armor
A beautiful milk
Chocolate brown
Amplified his magnificence
He was handsome
In his armor
Now passive
Due to his mortal injuries
Obviously suffered
From an encounter
With an ignorant human
Who saw him as a threat.
His injuries were mostly
Internal
They expressed them selves
Upon his cracked Armor breast plates
And facial armor visor.
The rarely seen Beatles
Is no more
Left behind in his field of battle
Like a fallen general
Will be memorialized
Within my mind
Somewhere down the line.
Unlike Don Quixote
Who rode into the sunset
Seniled
He stood upon his ground
Dying.
