As if he really cared.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...one of those. The heart breaker, the one who's no good for you...you love him but you shouldn't and if you do, he'll ruin you. And when you've found that strenght again, that lost part of you, he'll try and find a way back in before he strikes quickly and disappears on you. You can have him, but you've got it figured out...and , although some precious and rare kinds of love can be uplifting and magical, unfortunately, there others that are just plain old destructive!

maybe a sibling type of love
maybe one that grows on you
but without the spark of desire......
I find this so wise and authentic
and it has me thinking
does the person who receives this love, feel satisfied with it.......and why would they chose to love someone wounded enough not to love completly.....maybe in truth they don't want that full love, and chose someone to love who cannot love in return

It often hurts to think that we do all we can to open our hearts to love and just when we think it is going to happen it's vanishes like mist on a morning lake, this poem captures the uncertainties of love so well my dear Susan...I love it.
Now it's my turn to say, "I'll kick his suave butt for ya!" Well written Susan. I've felt these pain often, and have also inflicted them more than I meant to. As though all life begins with pain, look at birth. Then leads to parting. Ahhh, be well of heart as you are to all and love does return. God's love for us always is there.

Oh God this is echos for me in the past of BEAUTIFUL such raw emotions, dearest Susan sis..You sang it B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L-Y!!!!!!!I have discovered to make the Spirit Father the ONLY voice and let all else come in through Him concerning places, people and things...
confusion is often a part of the healing process, Susan, as we try to understand if we truly did or did not love them. Knowing that they are unworthy of our love often is not enough to cut off our feelings. Sometimes it is not understanding why they left that tortures us and keeps us from being able to heal. Potent write! A very happy, healthy and healing New Year to you.
