All this talk of terror and war. Let's not forget what this country was founded upon and let's all reflect upon September 11th and why we still fight for freedom. Afterall this is only my opinion and thank God I live in a country where I have a voice.

When terror took a shot
The heroes of the Towers
The ones that stood defiant

History gave us heroes

Your epic valor waves

September's MinuteMen are certainly the Giants of the Land and of History. We are blessed to have the reality of their presence amongst us, in the uniforms of the various task forces or dressed in civvies. firemen, policemen, and EMT's, all saving lives everyday, everywhere in this great land of ours.
Many go still unsung, but heros none the less.
So very well said and true with the approach of the anniversary the rememberance of not only those who fell but those who rose...rose up to be there when their country called...
YES, those who so tirelessly gave of their time to rescue the victims should always be honored and remembered. Such a wonderful tribute to these fearless individuals.

Standing ovation for a patriot! The heroes of the past along with the heroes of 9-11 "reguire" our remembrance and thanks. The heroes of our military "require" our prayers and praise every day that they give of there love to protect "every" free thinking woman or man.

Bravo sis! We need to remember that when Al Queda says they want to kill all Americans and destroy the United States in the Jihad of UBL,they mean it,and they will implement it no matte how long it takes. It's not just a few Muslims with idle threats, It's a united Islamic army worldwide and if we don't open our eyes to it and take precautions against it,then we will become history! Thanks Susan for sharing, what we need to remember!

One thing I do fail to understand, is England was hit 0n 7/7, we just let it go, we were hit by the IRA, and many others, but we just let history go, and move forwards. Why do some countries try to move forwards yet always looking behind.
Indeed America once was free...
A great tribute to our fallen heroes who will never be forgotten. We are a Nation of heroes ready to sacrifice our lives for the freedom we enjoy.

They are our new heroes, but they are revivled daily by some who want to destroy America. tom Lantos only today has made a mockery of his office . . . HE is certainly no hero . . . Thanks for the poem and the grit for singling out today's heroes . . . Let's not use that word so loosely as the news media seems to want to do . . .
