A view of an abused childs dreamz

Poem Artwork

A dream is something that all kids have only for people to step on along the way... They have hopes and dreamz on becoming a police, nurse, athlete, and star, but for some the dreamz seems so far.

Their mind is clouded with fears and their eyes always droppin tears from the pain they feel from past years... It was violent... it was mean... it lowered thier self-esteem... It kept them from realizing their dream.

A person who they trusted is most likely the case... a parent, a cousin, a teacher, a pastor a preacher... With everyone seeming bad... no one you can trust... your life starts to seem insignificant... a real bust.

The dreamz seem over... and no longer worth pursuing until a light goes off and a voice says keep on moving... I'm here for you to show you the way, so just call on Me from day to day.

I'm here to help you follow the road of success...that I had paved for you ever since your birth... Your mind might have been clouded from all that went wrong, but everything is fine now...You must move on!

Your dreamz are still alive and your life will be much brighter... just listen when I talk, and I'll lead you...You're a fighter!

I've known you before anyone... and knew you would make it...everyone has their time in life and no one can fake it... The people who have hurt you have their time too... So keep your dreamz alive and talk with ME from time to time, and I'll see you soon.

Omega Factor by John Henning

Take some time to walk outside of your own mind and into another, walk slowly and carefully; the mind that you step on might be your own.
