I know what it is like to be abused. I never knew how to get rid of it till Jesus showed me and took it all. I went to a meeting and thought I was praying for everyone else they had been abused. At five I was raped Grady and my mom hid it and she did it so well I stuffed but it festered for many years 20. Then I was praying for all these women when you pray you close your eyes. The One conducting this healing service said you will see Jesus I nearly fell coz there he was face to face to me. Moreover, he revealed me as a small 5 years old and he was in a place upon a cross. He came down and took my hand and then he said he wanted to help me remember. He asked if he could remove it from me and he touched my little heart all of that horrible abuse and all the things stemming through 20 years started to be revealed to me and taken away. Then I was a grown woman again he urged me to walk with him back to the cross I just could not and I was back to 5 once more. He walked with me and I stopped at the foot of his cross. He Climbed back on the Cross Grady........ He had my name across his chest. He spoke said he did it all for me so I could go free from the painful images, abuses and scars... I have never been the same. I called home upset the whole family I told them what happened and they had tried so hard to hide it all those years.......... Grady it hurts and it will be resident forever. I find depression and know it happens after much abuse. I am going to miss you so terribly much will pray for you always.

Hey, G. I read this and Part 2. You say you're not suicidal, and that may be true, but you definitely sound depressed when you say you wish you hadn't been born. I understand what you say about being honest with yourself and God, but I hope you grow to a place of cherishing your life and seeing its purpose. As for leaving AD, I wish you well and it's too bad that we won't be able to read your work and moods anymore. Both members and nonmembers read your work, I'm sure. Take care of yourself. ~~Nordette

Hey One, I was so sad when I read your write...and even more upset when I thought of you leaving the den...my friend you're a talented, compassionate, and wonderful artist who needs to express himself, and also sometimes just entertain others with your clever writes. Writing is a great therapy when we can pour our heart and souls onto paper of computer. Especially when we can share our feelings, thoughts, and dreams with others who understand...and for those who do not, usually there is a seed of jealousy, envy, and sometimes for someone to heckle you or give you a hard time, just ignorance. Don't give up my friend, you are a wonderful link of a circle of friends here at the den, can't imagine not reading your work, or seeing your reviews of my work. You are strong my friend, reach down within your own self and do what makes you happy and if writing is something that makes you happy write on my friend, and I'll keep on reading as many others will. Just look at the friends comments below that do not want you to leave the den...not this way. Stay strong, write, forget negative people and focus on what brings you happiness....hope to see you posting later tonight! Hang in there my friend...

I would respect your decision if it was for another reason. For example I might leave later this year simply because I find writing is becoming mere repetitions of my older work. But to give up because someone is heckling you, no way. I would fight on. My advice is the one I always gave to my daughter at home and my superiors at work. Just ignore them. When someone insult a wall the wall does not answer back. Finally they get fed up. Be a wall. Hard to destroy but never retaliating. I always won my battles that way. Victor

I'm really sorry to hear this, Grady. I always enjoy your posts, as do others here on AD.

And if you are leaving because you want to, I wish you well in whatever you do next, my friend; but if you are leaving because someone else thinks you should, I beg you to reconsider, and do what you want to do.
