Will it ever make it to be a butterfly?

They sat and watched the caterpillar
slowly make it across the floor,
they wondered if it would ever
make it out the door.
In came a large pair of shoes,
badly influenced by alcohol booze.

They figured the caterpillar
needed a hand,
if it was ever going to grow wings
and fly off the land.
Back some years,
their love suffered the same fears.
For quite awhile they wondered,
as their love slowly blundered.

They both walked in different shoes,
and indulged in the alcohol booze.
Through God's help they gave it up,
now their love is no longer corrupt.
For years they have been soaring,
and their love is still out pouring.

Two weeks later,
lovingly sitting on a bench,
a beautiful butterfly
flew within an inch.
