quite a few end up short
But we all take our chances
with friendly romances
Next thing we know we're
walking around in trances
Trying to figure what happen
while our friend is snapping
Next thing we know we
might get to slapping
Friends can be good and
they can be bad
either way get ready for
being happy and sad
Quite a few times mad
because you'll get tired
of being had
Friends will come and go
then act like they don't know
why they got dumped
until they really get jumped
Then they'll figure the math
head for another path
