This poem deals with fear phobias. I use to have a few, writing was one but I overcame by facing it.
While you're sitting and thinking
your eyes might be blinking
because you're going down
with the ship sinking
It might even get in your inking
Abandoned ship
before the fear trip
or pray to the Lord
and stay on board
Whether small or gigantic
don't go down with the titanic
Leave the television running
even though the show is stunning
or switch it off
the fear might land soft
Fear phobias aren't reality
so it's no use being a fatality
Stick to the tranquility
it offers more positive agility
Allowing fear to rule
only adds to the drool
The devil will keep you in school
Fear is his tool

Your poem reminds me of my one fear-phobia, Grady: Heights (not flying), so I usually stay grounded.
I had to chuckle at the title, 'tho...a personal thingee: every time I tell friends "I've been thinking..." I usually get a reply "OMG, we're all in trouble :o)"
As FDR said, "We have nothing to fear but fear itself." Guess that would be the devil's tool, huh! Enjoyed poem and image!!
