We are screwed over by our
own government
we are sick and tired of the torment
It's suppose to be the government
of the people by the people
but the politicians elected
must always be corrected
after their bullshit is detected
Of course no government is perfected
ours most suspected

Many of the elected officials
become power stricken
then they go gold picking
They fall for special interest
then forget to take care of the nest
Some good politicians become
just like all the rest
Greedy selfish after nothing but money
like a bear after honey
So much for the little mans day sunny

The problem is the republicans
and the democrats
give cheese to the rats
fatten then feed to the cats
Like two jealous brothers fighting
there can be no positive uniting
Their whole hearted purpose is to
maintain power at all cost
So the people get lost
