A poem about dealing with long distance love

The purest touch on skin Ignites internal fire Love resides within our hearts Entwined by pure desire I am yours forever Bound by immortal kiss Two souls that found each other An endless life of bliss Though we are apart now My heart belongs with you Our hearts they beat a rhythm That will see us through We share the deepest feelings This moment will arrive When I am in your arms, once more And our love will come alive

I love the mournful longing in your poem. So much better than someone longing for someone who is dead. Still, I hope that you can get back together.

My mother needs me right now but I can't get to see her because of my circumstances and 1100 miles between us.
